Another Win for Team USA

Daniel Berger made it 3 wins in a row for the USA team after finishing off with an eagle on the 72^nd hole to seal the deal at Pebble Beach this past weekend.

.Team US had their presence felt on the European Tour and PGA Tour the past weekend. World #1 Dustin Johnson won the Saudi International on Al Murooj Golf Couse. After watching the event the course turned into one of my bucket list courses to play. 

Goodbye 2020, Welcome 2021!

As a golfer your New Year resolution is probably playing more rounds and hitting less shots. Any courses on your bucket list you want to tick? Battling with a left or right miss?  Are you using the correct equipment?

Although the Sunshine tour is on hold due to the covid situation in our country, professional golf world wide is thankfully still producing loads of entertainment.

The First European tour event for 2021 is done and dusted. The 29 year old Englishman put yet another golden star behind his name wining the Abu Dhabi Championship with 4 shots. Tyrrell Hatton went around the course on Sunday without a drop shot on the card.

50 new golfers, a tour bus and an ace on a par 4…just another week at Arabella.

11 Done, One to go.  Approaching the last few weeks of 2020 and through all the ups and downs the Course is still in world class condition.

Rambo goes back to back. Christiaan Bezuidenhout jumps from outside the top 50 to 35^th in the official world golf rankings the past 2 weeks. Finding some form towards the end of the year, banking R6, 5 million for his back to back victories at Leopards creek and Sun City. He will be heading to the season ending tournament at Dubai ranked 5^th in the Race.  Garrick Hugo will joining him there as one of the youngest players making it to the event.

November, plenty of sunshine, perfect beach weather (not referring to bunkers) and early tee times. I’ve played a few different courses lately including the likes of Pearl Valley and Erinvale, although it was a treat, you can’t compare it with what we have here at Arabella.

Although the festive season is just around the corner, it won’t be the same as previous seasons with many of our golfing friends stuck in their countries due to the travel restrictions.

Its every golfer’s favourite week of the year. The perfectly manicured course, the best players in the world, the most exclusive tournament of the year, yes you’ve guessed right, it is Masters Week.

With the first Month in the books, LGT turned plenty Clients into happy golfers. 

As we enter the 10th month of the year, the flower beds around the course are starting to bloom and the tee shots are getting more roll on the fairways. The warm weather also gets the reptiles out doing course inspection.

Faster greens , longer days ,don’t you just love summer. Make time to work in the rounds you missed during lockdown in the next few weeks.

Thanks to the support from the members, Mike and Wayne, I got the opportunity to start a brand new golf company at Arabella called Loots Golf and Tours.

Loots Golf and tours had a good start to September besides the wet weather lately. The juniors are back out on the course and enjoying the beautiful facilities and surrounding.

2 weeks into Spring and with the reopening of the hotel, the atmosphere at the club is warmer and warmer.
